The dinner with founder Canon Simon Stephens was very successful with many people coming along to hear Simon speak about how he founded TCF in the UK in 1969 and his life story.
Mick De Brenni member for Springwood came along to support us and his visit was much appreciated.
Simon encouraged members present to consider giving back to other bereaved parents when they were able to, and reinforcing the fact that TCF runs on volunteers and volunteers are desparately needed to keep our Brisbane/Queensland chapter going.
