The Compassionate Friends Queensland is an organisation of bereaved parents, siblings and grandparents dedicated to the support and care of families following the death of a child at any age and from any cause. We offer personal comfort, hope and understanding from our lived experience of bereavement. We have a 24 hour phone help line and support meetings that provide the opportunity to talk to others who have experienced the loss of a child, sibling or grandchild. We have a regular magazine and hold events to support families and commemorate our loved ones.

We are a part of a world-wide family of bereaved parents caring for one another…we have no miracle cure, just comfort, support and compassion from people who can walk with you on your journey.
