TCF Queensland hold support group meetings in various locations around the state. Our meetings are a safe environment for bereaved parents, grandparents and siblings to express themselves in the company of others who have lost a child or sibling and understand their grief.
At the meetings you will find people whose children have died from all ages and causes – people who will listen and understand what you are feeling. Like you, they are going through the grieving process. It can be a great comfort to be in the company of others who have been through a similar experience.
Read about what you can expect at a support group meeting.
In regional areas where there are no regular formal support groups we have local support people who can help and meet with you as required.
You can also call the National Support Line 1300 064 068 at any time for telephone support

Not all areas in Queensland have support meetings and contacts. If you are interested in finding support from other bereaved parents, grandparents or siblings in your area, please contact the TCF Qld Office and we may be able to find members in your area that you can contact.
