Donations
The Compassionate Friends, Queensland relies heavily on donations, like most non-profit organisations, to cover the everyday running costs of the organisation in supporting bereaved parents and their families. Every gift towards this is greatly appreciated.
Making a gift to TCFQ is giving the gift of compassion and support to the many families grieving the loss of their child. Celebrate a life and make a donation to TCFQ in memory of your beloved child, grandchild, brother or sister, or in honour of someone who is living.
A donation in memory of someone special is a fitting tribute.
How does my money make a difference?
You can help us provide a range of programs and services to make a difference for families in need. Your donations go to services and support such as:
- Purchase of library books and other grief related resources
- Printing information brochures on grief
- Awareness raising activities in the community
- Conducting an annual seminar on Grief and Bereavement
- Holding candlelight services
- Establishing support groups in regional and metropolitan areas of Queensland
All donations of $2 and over are tax deductible. You can be assured that all dollars raised are used in the support of bereaved families.
