THIS IS A FREE SEMINAR FOR MEMBERS WITH LUNCH AND MORNING TEA PROVIDED
Guest Speaker: Trish Wilson RN, BCouns, GHDSts (Loss & Grief)
Trish is a nurse and midwife with qualifications in counselling and loss and grief studies. She worked for many years in the counselling team at the Wesley Hospital, which included supporting patients and families who were dealing with wellness, adversity and facing death. This included in-hospital care as well as supporting families through the Wesley’s Bereavement Support Program. Trish completed her studies and went on to lecture in the Loss & Grief program at the University of Qld. More recently Trish has been in private practice as a grief counselor, with much of her work focusing on supporting families who are faced with the death of a child. She currently co-ordinates the Bereavement Support Program at the Mater Mothers Hospital.
The Seminar begins with our guest speaker followed by morning tea and workshops.
Our previous seminars have been very well received and feedback from those attending has been very positive.
