Once again Trish Wilson gave a gentle, informative talk on the whirlpool of grief and everyone took something away from the session.
After morning tea there was the regular men’s workshop which is always a good chance for men only to come together and share their grief story, which can be very different to a woman’s story. Lorraine took a sharing session and Caylie Jeffery took a workshop on The Mindful Art of Journaling.>
Over morning tea and lunch there were opportunities for people to mix and share their stories and again to reinforce that we are not alone our journey.
During the closing ceremony Elizabeth read a poem and then people came forward to place a frangipani in the water in memory of their child.
