Over the past decade, The Compassionate Friends has been strongly supported by the Sherwood Forest Runners and their friends. Sherwood Forest Runners is a group running from the Sherwood Arboretum each Saturday morning at 7 am open to anyone wanting a fun run. The Candlelight Service on the 16 December was very well attended. This year for the first time we had a slideshow presentation of our children. It made the service especially meaningful for those who had sent in photos to be included and there was hardly a dry eye in the church, it was so beautiful.
