The Compassionate Friends committee and members would like to express their sincere and heartfelt thanks to the members of our Mackay Chapter for holding another cent auction recently in Mackay and raising $1525.00 which they have so generously donated once again to TCF. This year Joy our Co-ordinator and her husband John, a committee member, travelled to Mackay to help with the auction. John and Joy extend their sincere thanks to Ann for providing her home as their accommodation and transporting them around town.

John and Joy met many members of TCF Mackay Chapter, Daphne, Caroline, Vince, Sue and others who were so welcoming and made them feel so at home. One couple who were very instrumental in this fundraiser again this year were Eileen and Charlie Azzopardi who opened their home for the auction and a luncheon for approximately 60 people.

These members and others not only put their efforts into doing this for other TCF members but also as a legacy of love for their dearly loved children. We understand that many people were involved in organising this event but we would like to mention the names of some of the children.
