While attendance this year was lower than usual, the Seminar was very informative and the feeling amongst the group was that the day was very real help in the healing process.
Bereaved parents attending ranged in their grief journey from 6 months to 35 years and everyone took something from Trish’s very gentle, informative talk on how the walls around us tumble down after the death of a child. Trish’s powerpoint presentation will be available on this site shortly.
Over morning tea and lunch there were opportunities for people to mix and share their stories and again to reinforce that we are not alone our journey.
During the closing ceremony Linda read a poem and Lyn handed out roses to everyone to take home as a remembrance of the day and their child.
