The Candlelight Service on the 8 December was very well attended with numbers up from the previous year.
Parents and siblings read out poems and messages for their child/siblings, along with music and slideshows. At 7pm an International candle was lit to carry the light around the world for all the children gone too soon.
For the second year we had a slideshow presentation of our children. It made the service especially meaningful for those who had sent in photos to be included and there was hardly a dry eye in the church, it was so beautiful. Next year if you would like your child included please don’t forget to sent in their photo.
After the service supper was served in the adjoining courtyard. A raffle was held with all proceeds going towards the running of TCF Queensland. Thank you to the many sponsors for their generous donations.
