In August 2000, TCFQ held a dedication ceremony for a plaque in memory of our children on a memorial seat installed in the Botanical Gardens in Mt Coot-tha.

In 2019 we discovered that the plaque had become very worn and the seat had been placed in storage during renovations to the Gardens.

Brisbane City Council agreed for us to redesign the plaque and to have it installed in a new location facing the main duck lagoon, near the Information Centre and Cafe.

We invite all members and friends to a re-dedication ceremony of the seat to be held at the Botanical Gardens, Mt Coot-tha at 1pm on Saturday 16th October. The location is shown below
