Joy and Karen were invited down to Grill’d in Fortitude Valley (Brisbane) recently to pick up a donation cheque of $100 and have a photo taken for the Grill’d website.

If you haven’t visited Grill’d, this initiative is done through their Local Matters program.

There are 3 jars in the store each month, each with a nominated charity. When people purchase a burger they are given a bottle cap and asked to choose which one of the charity organisations they would like to support and the bottle cap goes in that jar. The one which gets the most bottle caps receives $300 and the other two receive $100 each.

This is the third time that TCF have participated, twice in Fortitude Valley and at the Emporium in Brisbane city.
