How do we connect, rebuild and acknowledge growth after loss? As adults, we may resist processing our grief because it is often associated with pain. It makes sense to want to escape, resist feeling our emotions, and just allow our subconscious to deal with grief.

But what happens when our inner-being rebels and demands our support and attention?

This workshop gently explores:
• Our inner-being experience of bereavement
• The rupture or conflict between our adult selves and core essence
• Repairing the relationship between our adult selves and inner-being

Kelly and Angela run the service StandBy – Support After Suicide across Brisbane and surrounds, and are passionate about walking alongside people on their grief path. Kelly comes from a social work and creative arts gestalt framework and Angela has a background in counselling and expressive therapies. The two of them collaborate closely on supporting bereaved individuals, families and communities.
