Our Christmas Candlelight service was held on Sunday 14th December. It was a very special evening where we remembered and paid tribute to our precious children in a very special way.
Parents and siblings read out poems and messages for their child/siblings, along with music and slideshows. At 7pm an International candle was lit to carry the light around the world for all the children gone too soon.
Once again we had a slideshow presentation of our children. It made the service especially meaningful for those who had sent in photos to be included. Next year if you would like your child included please don’t forget to send a photo by post or email. Please ensure the quality of the photo is as good as possible to enable it to be enlarged for the slideshow.
After the service supper was served in the adjoining courtyard and gave families a chance to socialise after such a moving time. A raffle was held with all proceeds going towards the running of TCF Queensland. Thank you to the many sponsors for their generous donations.
Two beautiful quilts handmade by TCF member Lyn Macklin were raffled. Congratulations to the winners of both raffles.
