The Compassionate Friends supports and cares for people following the death of their child. Ultimately we wish we could prevent death from occurring...then we would still have our beloved children with us, but sadly we can't. Please help to support our organisation so we may continue to care and support the many families who face the most devastating loss of all...... the loss of a child.
Donations
The Compassionate Friends, Queensland relies heavily on donations to cover the everyday running costs of the organisation in supporting bereaved parents and their families. Every gift towards this is greatly appreciated.
Making a gift to TCF is giving the gift of compassion and support to the many families grieving the loss of their child. Celebrate a life and make a donation to TCF Qld in memory of your beloved child, grandchild, brother or sister who has died, or in honour of someone who is living. A memorial or tribute donation is a fitting tribute to someone special.
How does my money make a difference?
You can help us provide a range of programs and services to make a difference for families in need. Your donations go to services and support such as:
- Purchase of library books and other grief related resources
- Producing and printing our bi-monthly TCF Queensland Newsletters
- Printing information brochures on grief
- Awareness raising activities in the community
- Conducting an annual seminar on Grief and Bereavement
- Holding candlelight services
- Establishing support groups in regional and metropolitan areas of Queensland
All donations of $2 and over are tax deductible. You can be assured that all dollars raised are used efficiently.
